If you missed Mispillion Art League’s (MAL) Social on January 29 at Arena’s Banquet Room you missed a wonderful event. The food was great, the company even better and the entertainment terrific.

Soup, two kinds of salad, shrimp, crab balls, sandwiches, wings, beverage and dessert were all served in Arenas new banquet room. Which is located at the rear of the building, private and on the ground level. We didn’t have a sellout crowd, but MAL members and guests were able to spend quality time getting caught up with each other’s happenings.

Several members commented on their experience:

Gwen Guerke commented in part “ The room was the perfect size for a small group. The food was delicious . . . By far, the highlight of the evening was the sweet performance of the Suzuki students. Nice to see neighborly collaboration with the Music School of Delaware “.

Cathy Serwalt: “I love to play games, and Judy comes up with great ones. (The games) combined art information and a chance to meet our fellow members”.

Mimi Galligan noted: “Art League folks enjoyed the most charming,  spirit-lifting, delightful musical entertainment- the Suzuki violin students – ahhhh – their music is truly impressive”.

A new member, Carol Yost, said: “I was able to meet several people , and enjoyed the entire event. I was so happy to meet such a nice group of interesting and fun loving people ! I look forward to future events at MAL”.

So if you missed the event or if you were there to enjoy the evening, make sure to be there next year.
