I am fascinated by the textures and colors of a world where romantic decay – doors, windows and peeling paint reveal the passage of time and human existence and I strive to bring out the beauty in ordinary things. My passion is watercolor journaling and I love teaching it as well as doing it. There is something magical about capturing a moment in a journal with your own words and sketches.
I have taught throughout Delaware and around the country. I studied fine art and graphic design at Arizona State University and worked for over 20 years as a graphic designer. I am a member of Mispillion and Rehoboth Art Leagues, Plein Air Painters of the Mid Atlantic and founding member of Sketchers Delaware, an urban sketching group.
