Using well-designed hand crafted pottery enhances our joy in daily activities and during special events. It’s important to me is that my pottery be comfortable in the hands, practical in form, and delightful to the eye. That is why I’m continually learning more about materials, surface decoration, techniques and putting it all together into the joy of making pottery.
I’ve loved having my hands in clay for years beginning with lessons at the Delaware Art Museum. It was on this foundation that I developed my skills and continued to work to achieve the subtle beauty and visual depth that results from thoughtfully glazing well-made pieces.
I’ve been juried into Vermont Hand Crafters and am a member of Mispillion Art League, Rehoboth Art League, Dover Art League, American Craft Council, Biggs Museum of American Art: Delaware By Hand.
