Lions Club supports the Art League

The Mispillion Art League is grateful to have received support from the Milford Lions Club Eunice F. Reed Grant for the past six years.  This year the Eunice Reed grant is $3,500.  During the previous five years, The Milford Lions Club has awarded the Mispillion Art League a total of $17,500 from this fund. The Art League is very appreciative of the Lions Club for their continuing support.

The Lions Club grant enables Mispillion Art League to provide education scholarships to community members who otherwise could not participate in the joy of making art.  The Art League delivers ongoing art scholarship classes to the Salvation Army’s Creative HeARTS program for adults with developmental disabilities, Stevenson House juvenile detention center, and People’s Place women’s shelter.

Through partnership with the Lions Club of Milford, we can develop the creativity of our neighbors.

For information about Milford Lions Club membership or community activities, see their web site www.milfordlions22d.com.
