Exhibit/Show Information   Join Mispillion Art League and discover new and exciting classes and opportunities to display and market your art. Our members are involved in teaching, demonstrations, forums and family events such as Bug and Bud and Arts & Jazz Festivals, Riverwalk Freedom Festival as well as collaborative events with the Milford Historical Society and the Milford Museum.   Qualifications for Exhibiting Work   Unless otherwise specified, all work entered in the Mispillion Art League’s Gallery must be deemed to be “fine” arts or “fine” crafts. The Exhibit Committee reserves the right to choose work displayed for public viewing. Overall size limitations may be imposed for specific events. Work must be properly framed and wired and display systems provided for three-dimensional work.   Pick up and Delivery of Artwork/Liability   Calls for entries into formal exhibits or shows are generally e-mailed to members and are also available in our Gallery office. Delivery and pick-up dates must be adhered to or work may be subject to a per diem storage fee. Deadlines for entries for formal Gallery Exhibits are firm. A small entry/hanging fee is usually applied to each artist.   Artists are required to sign a waiver releasing MAL from liability during exhibition periods. Each artist exhibiting in the Gallery is requested to gallery host once a month. Schedules and Information A Warm Cup of Creativity March 1st through April 6th, reception March 1st from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm Student Show April 10th through April 20th. Reception: Friday, April 12th, from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. A 10 day show of work done by the students in the Milford School System - from Middle School through High School. This is always a real eye opener - to see the talent of these young people! Color Play - Juried Members Show April 24th through June 22nd. Reception: Friday, May 3rd from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. Prizes for this show will be awarded in 5 categories: Water media, Oils, Photography, Other ( misc. mediums) and 3-D.
